My teacher says some people come here (to this life) to experience the dark. Lately, I’ve been asking myself a lot of questions. Mostly, I’m puzzled by why anyone chooses to focus their energy and attention on hurting others. Why not use all of that energy on yourself? Why be cruel when you can be kind? Why be jealous or envious when you can manifest what you want? Why work with dark magic when you can stand in the light?
I know the answer. It’s because it’s easier to look outside than to go inward. And for some, the darkness is what they came to experience.
I’ve reserved my judgment. I’ve even tucked my emotions on the subject away. I’ve spent too much time thinking about and making excuses for bad behaviour. I have excuses ready for loved ones before they even offer them. But everyone needs boundaries.
Where are your boundaries? If dealing with someone’s constant negative energy is draining you, or you need to equip yourself to be around them, it may be time to start asking yourself some questions too. Are you listening to your intuition? Sometimes, you have to let Jesus [insert your God’s name here] do His/ their job.
If someone is here to experience the dark, don’t sit around and be their victim, and don’t interrupt their karma by trying to be their martyr. Vibes don’t lie; people do. I’m not an advocate for cancel culture, but it’s okay to protect yourself. Sometimes, that means cutting ties.
